Hello... Here is your answer

Electron microscope

It is a type of microscope which is very large in size. It uses electron beam for magnification. It is done as following electrons pass through the subject and make a illuminated image which is observed in eye piece. Due to this transmission we can see extremely small things in electron microscope

Light Microscope

This type of microscope use light and lens for magnification purpose. It helps us to see unicellular organisms but it's magnifying power is not powerful as electron microscope.

Answer:

Electron microscopes differ from light microscopes in that they produce an image of a specimen by using a beam of electrons rather than a beam of light. Electrons have much a shorter wavelength than visible light, and this allows electron microscopes to produce higher-resolution images than standard light microscopes.
