What are processed or Secondary Fuel?​

Primary fuels include nuclear fuels, biofuels and fossil fuels.

These fuels are processed from the form found as a natural resource and can also be considered energy currencies.

Secondary Fuel

Secondary fuels are easier for engines to burn, so are often made from crude oil as a way of getting the most energy out as possible.

Some fuels cannot be used in their raw form or the way they are found in nature. These fuels need to processed by chemical methods before they are used e.g. Petrol, Diesel, Kerosene oil, e.t.c
