substitution to solve for x and y
2y = x+7
x = y-4
answer: 2y =x + 7 .................(1)
substitute x = y-4 in eqn(1) we get
2y =y-4+7
2y-y = -4+7
2y-y =7-4
y = 3
therefore x=y-4
x=3-4
x=-1
2y = x+7
x = y-4
