Given :    2x − (−3 + 9 − 1) + 2 = x − (−3)

4 + 4 ∙ (8 − 3x) = −2.(2 + 3x)

To find : Solve for x

Solution:

2x − (−3 + 9 − 1) + 2 = x − (−3)

=> 2x - (5) + 2 = x + 3

=> 2x  - 5 + 2  = x + 3

=> 2x - 3 = x + 3

=> x  - 3  = 3

=> x  = 3 + 3

=> x  =6

4 + 4 ∙ (8 − 3x) = −2.(2 + 3x)

=> 4  + 32  - 12x = -4 - 6x

=> -12x + 36 = -4 - 6x

=> 40 = 6x

=> x = 40/6

=> x = 20/3
