The highest and usually climacticnote of a song or composition, especially one that is difficult to reach.
If talking about vocals, it all depends on your range.
For a soprano, the highest voice part, the typical range is from about middle C (C4) to 2 octaves higher, the high C (C6). A high C is pretty rare and is typically only sung by the few highest sopranos in a piece. One of the pieces I am singing in my high school choir has a high D (D6), and that is the highest note I ever had to sing, and I highly doubt I will have to ever sing higher than that.

In music, the range, or chromatic range, of a musical instrument is the distance from the lowest to the highest pitch it can play. For a singing voice, the equivalent is vocal range. The range of a musical part is the distance between its lowest and highest note
