R1 = 10 ohm
R2 = 15 ohm
R3 = 20 ohm
V = 3v
I = VR
= 3/15 = 0.2A
Since current in series circuit each resistor remains same,
I = 0.2
Now,
R1 = 10 ohm
I = 0.2 A
V = IR
= 0.2 × 10 = 2 v.
Hence, current across circuit is 0.2 A and potential drop across 10 ohm resistor is 2v.
