India has been at the forefront in standing up to environmental movement pressures to stop using DDT. Thank you India for strongly opposing the proposal to eliminate DDT use by 2020. By continuing the manufacturing and use of DDT after the the US ban on DDT in 1972 takes a lot of fortitude for a country.
