what do you think would be the observation if the a- particle scattering experiment is carried out using a foil of a metal other than gold???

please give me clear answer.....

hi sister on using the foil of heavy metal like gold for eg platinum and silver or etc the observation will be same but is of light metal for eg sodium magnesium or etc, the massive a-particles may push the nucleus aside may not be deflected back...
this question come in my today's exam so I remember it...
