WEATHERING IS BASICALLY THE CORROSION OF ROCKS DUE TO EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS

WHEREAS

EROSION IS A SUDDEN PHENOMENON WHICH MIGHT TAKE PLACE DUE TO SUDDEN EARTHQUAKE, OR TREMOR.

Erosion is a displacement of solids (soil,mud,rock&other particles) usually by the agents of currents such as, wind,water,or ice by downward or down- slope movement in response to gravity or by living organisms.

Weathering is the decomposition of rocks , solids and their minerals through direct contact with the earth's atmosphere....
