Generally,Conductivity is a measurement of the ability of an aqueous solution to carry an electrical current. An ion is an atom of an element that has gained or lost an electron. In water it breaks apart into an aqueous solution of sodium and chloride ions. This solution will conduct an electrical current. The conductivity of water estimates the total amount of solids dissolved in water TDS(Total Dissolved Solids). TDS is measured in ppm or in mg/l.

Hey dear
Conductivity is a measure of water's capability to pass electrical flow. This ability is directly related to the concentration of ions in the water
Hope it helps you
