How does antibiotic Penicillin work? Why is that the Penicillin does not have any side effect on our body?

1) Antibiotics commonly block biochemical pathways essential for the bacteria.


2) Many bacteria's use cell wall to protect themselves.


3) Penicillin blocks the life processes of the bacteria to make cell wall.


4) Therefore, the growing bacteria become unable to build cell wall and eventually dies.


5) Human body don't have cell wall anyway. So antibiotic penicillin cannot have any effect on the human body. Penicillin will have this effect on any bacteria that uses search procedures for making cell wall.
