Principal= 40,000
Amount= 48,000
Time = 2yrs
Rate of lnterest %= ?
= A ( 1+ r/100)n
= 48,400= 40,000 (1+r/100)2. [ 2= time period in power]
= 48,400= 40,000 (r+100/100)2
= 48,400/40,000= (r+100/100)2. [ 2 zero of 48,400 and 40,000 are cut by itself]
= √(484/400) = r+100/100
= 22/20 = r+100/100
= 20 divided by denominator 100
then,
equation
= 22 = r+100/5
5 is in the form of division then 5 is multiplied to 22
then,
= 110= r+100
= 110- 100= r%
= r%= 10% per annum
