Given that: (x,y)=(3,4) in the equation 3y=ax+7

Solution:

3y=ax+7

Put, x=3 and y=4 in the given equation, we get;

3(4)=a(3)+7

=> 12=3a+7

=>12-7=3a

=>5=3a

 \frac{5}{3}  = a

Thus, value of a= 5/3
