ammonication:

ammonification. 1 : the act or process of ammoniating. 2 : decomposition with production of ammonia or ammonium compounds especially by the action of bacteria on nitrogenous organic matter.

nitrification:

In nitrification, ammonia is first converted to nitrites (NO2-) and then to nitrates. The initial step of this process, known as nitritation, involves a type of bacteria callednitrosomonas.

dentrification:

Denitrification is a microbially facilitated process where nitrate is reduced and ultimately produces molecular nitrogen through a series of intermediate gaseous nitrogen oxide products. It is the third party of bacteria that completes the Nitrogen cycle.

ammonium source plants process.Ammonification is the process by which the organically bound nitrogen of microbial, plant, and animal biomass is recycled after their death. ... The first step in nitrification is the oxidation of ammonium to nitrite (NO-2 ), a function carried out by bacteria in the genus Nitrosomonas.
