Hey dear here is your answer!!!!!
Don't confuse , actually we know that SI unit of speed or velocity is m/s but generally it is given in km/hr . To convert km/hr to m/s we multiply unit by 5/18
This 5/18 came by :-
1km = 1000m
1 hr = 60 sec
So 1km/hr = 1000/60 = 5/18
Hope it helps u dear....☺️☺️☺️

Answer:
1km/1hr have been done cancellation to decrease it in a simplest way to multiply. 1km = 1000m
1hr = 3600 seconds ....... it has to converted because. ....unit is meter per second.....
so.....1000/3600 =5/18
I Think it has been use full but if didn't understand it ... u may go deep into this topic ..... best of luckkkkkkk
