how a magnet can be demagnetised

only permanent magnet can be demagnetized. magnet can be demagnetized by
(1) Dropping it down continously (2) By hammering (3) By heating (4) By keeping the like poles together (5) By placing the magnet in a stronger opposite field (6) By passing the magnet to and fro through a strong solenoid (a current carrying coil)
