leaves fall off of the trees in autumn so new trees can start to grow in the spring. In autumn, the birds migrate south. To migrate means moving from one place to another for a long time. In autumn, some animals, like bears, hibernate for the winter.∵

With the coming of autumn most of the birds form flocks.

Starting from the parties of long-tailed tits to those huge flocks of waders on the coastal estuaries and murmurations of starlings we find a wide variety of groups during this season.

Autumn evenings are filled with flocks of jackdaws, rocks and carrion crows that fly towards woodland roasts.

The coastal areas witness a number of different varieties of migratory birds who leave their breeding grounds to spend the winter on the coasts.
