Personal health and community health are correlated to each other. As the community is the ecosystem where people live its health is equated to personal health.

Explanation:

• Man is a social animal who lives in a community. If an individual does not maintain his/her personal health the other members of the community will be infected.  

• As the health of the community is based on the health and hygiene of each individual of the community it is therefore interrelated to each other.

• If every individual of the community stays healthy and be responsible for the environment creating a harmonious, healthy, and hygienic environment, then the entire community would be healthy.

• Hence, if an individual stays healthy he/she will not be a carrier of any disease and will not affect the community health adversely.
