Bolivia is located in Latin America it is a poor country. due to the pressure from the world bank, the Bolivian government had to give a water supply contract to a private firm.
The government sold these right to a private Multinational company the private company immediately increase the price of the water four times from the before.
Human rights and various social activists organized the four-day strike against the government and its policies on water supply.
