Landform is a natural phenomenon of Earth that occurs on the surface of Earth. The main landforms are plains, mountain and plateau.

Landform is formed by two processes one is external process and other one is internal process.

  • In external process, there is a continuous wearing down phenomenon occurs on the Earth’s surface such as erosion where materials are removed from Earth’s surface by wind or water.
  • In internal process, there is a movement of tectonic plates under the Earth’s surface which results in elevation of earth’s surface.
