Explanation:

When a liquid evaporates it requires heat to change its state from liquid to gas without a change in temperature. This is called the latent heat of vaporization. One place it can get this heat from is itself, so as one part of the liquid vaporizes, it cools itself down, in effect reducing the rate at which it vaporizes.

An interesting experiment to do OUTSIDE and away from any flames is to open a small canister of LPG, like the ones used for camping stoves. It would be assumed that once the pressure was released it would simply quickly evaporate. It doesn’t; instead ice forms on the outside of the canister as water condenses from the air and then freezes. The gas then slowly vaporizes and leaves the canister. If you do this, be very careful!!!

You can feel the effects far easier by simply licking the back of one hand then blowing over both hands. The wet hand will become a lot colder than the dry one because the evaporating water takes heat from your hand. This is also the reason that wet clothing is so dangerous in cold climates as the wearer will probably get hypothermia.

Explanation:

when temperature increases then evaporation increases . evaporation cools a liquid because it increases the surface area then decrease in kinetic energy of molecule.
