plants are living organisms as they respire through stomata. gas exchange takes place in the plants and also they are eukaryotic multicellular organisms. they preapare their food through the process of photosynthesis. so plants are living organisms.

because they participate actively in photosynthesis I.e they release oxygen in atmosphere. We can tell that because they are multi cellular eukaryotic who have cell wall and autotrops who can make their own food and need not depend on others unlike animals, humans etc...
