Historians and archaeologists are called detectives because they know the historical aspects of the particular place they are excavating and they have to dig into far too deep of the surface of the earth to collect the artifacts that are historically important similar to the detective who will have to get to the depths of the case. The main difference between the Historians, archaeologists and detectives is that the first two deals with the past cases which has happened many years ago while the later one have to deal with the present ones.

Answer:

hey mate

Explanation:

Historians often use the word source to refer to the information obtained from manuscripts, inscriptions and archaeology. Once sources are found, learning about the past becomes an adventure, as we reconstruct it bit by bit. So, historians and archaeologists are like detectives who use all these sources like clues to discover about the past.
