oil are unsaturated compound and ghee (fat) are saturated compound and we can diff. bw by performing a test that is bromine water test the colour (red brown) fade whe we put into un saturated comp. ( oil)

in un saturated comp. the sol. become colourless
but in saturated comp. it become red brown only
