The valency of lead is+2 and the valency of NO3 is -1 This Chen ions are interchanged We will get.

mokshil1: thank you girl, but how can we know that no3 has valency -1 please answer me
khushi20031: N need 3 electron to fulfill its shell and O needs 2more thus they form covalent bond and share 2electron. But 1electron is still left thus it need one more electron hence it's valency is -1

As u have given example of Lead Nitrate, ur answer is Pb(NO3)2 as the valency of NO3 is -1 and that of Pb is 2. So after writing the formula, u get Pb(NO3)2..
Hope it helps!

mokshil1: BT how d do u know that valency of no3 is -1??
Anonymous: Well no3 is a polyatomic ion and valency of those polyatomic ion is determined by their charge. Since it has a charge of -1 therefore it's valency is -1
