Heya friend,

Osmosis is a process by which water molecules enter and exit through a selectively permeable membrane, Plasma/Cell membrane.Osmosis is a passage of water from region of high water concentration through cell membrane to region of low water concentration.

Let's perform a experience to observe osmosis-:

•Put dried raisins in salt/sugar water .
•Leave it for sometime , for almost 1 day.
•After some time you will see that raisins shrinks and lose water.
•Exocytosis happened in this.

•Now out them in plain water.
•You will see after sometime that raisins swelled up.
•Endocytosis happened in this.

So through this simple activity we observed the process of osmosis.

Hope it helps..!!

cut any vegetable into halves.
after some time it became less fresh.
after that put it in water.
take after some time
you will notice that the veggie again became fresh.
this is b'coz of water enter into it and make it fresh.the flow of particles from higher water concentration to the region of lower water concentration is called osmosis

hope it helps.pls mark as brainliest
