Hey mate !!!

Good question !

Answer :-

• In oldrn days farmers used old methods which gave them less yield .

The reason for this is they used wooden instruments which were slow in agriculture.

Later many machines came into existence like modern methods of agricultures

• In modern methods few works are done by machines and need few labor .

• Combined harvesters are used for threshing , harvesting the crop whereas the seed driller is used to sow seeds and etc .

• These save time and give high yield .

•This benefits the farmer to sow the second plant too .

Hope this helps you

Low yielding crops are usually of low varieties and prone to more higher amount of plant diseases. Previously, or in nomadic and Arab-Islamic agricultural methods and many of our ancestors in historic and pre-historic types used sickles and other types of ploughing mechanical devices, they were extensive and highly reliable on the amount of Labour which directly affects the plants productivity. In olden days there wer uses of wooden and rusted out equipments which took a lot of time, Labour, watchkeeping and keenness towards the agricultural fields. In modern times, present day, contain biotechnology as a new subject which explores more about transgenic plants and animals to much sequential genetic patterns, making the dieting of that specific gene we want to modify and henceforth make it a High yielding variety along with diesease and pest resistant plants.

DavidOtunga: Genetic engineering has allowed us to trade the opportunities and hence give a second life to the farmers on the fields.
