Condoms are the best method to control population. In countries like India and China, it helps a lot in controlling of population. During sexual intercourse, when penis from man are inserted in the vagina, then the fertilization mostly occur because there is no stoppage for sperms and it goes and fertilize with ova and produce babies. But if there are some barriers  between penis and uterus which stop semen to enter the uterus. So there will be no fertilization. Condoms do this and control population.

Condom is an object that helps in preventing the sperm to reach the uterus and fertilise the ovum or egg.
Since it doesn't allow the sperm to fertile the egg, zygote is not developed and hence the female prevents pregnancy.
If pregnancy is prevented, no child birth takes place and hence population doenot increases and remains in control.
