Gerrard was an actor , he fooled the intruder by saying that he was a criminal and he shot someone and ran away and police was already looking for him. intruder believed Gerrard after Gerrard said that he was expecting some trouble tonight and he had already packed his bags and was ready to leave .

Gerrard was thinking that his problems might increased that night. So, he was in a hurry to leave the room. He also told him that once he had to kill a police officer to dodge the police because some things went wrong. Ultimately, the Intruder got trapped in Gerrard's trap and at last Gerrard give him to the police and saves his life.
