Some points on Lamarckism theory are as follows:-

1. Short neck in ancestral stage of giraffe was found.

2. According to him neck in offsprings increased continuously which helped them in getting of food as well.

3. Neck in the offsprings of giraffe continued to increase in next generations then the evolution of long neck in modern giraffe came.

4. In them, neck was stretched.

5. They used to feed on leaves of tall trees.
