How did Hitler rise to power?

Adolf Hitler was able to rise to power in Germany due to two factors. One of these factors was his charisma.The other factor was due to the economic condition of Germany at that time.Germany had just been defeated in the World War 1. They were demoralized and their country had been ruined by the war.
Hitler became politically active in the year 1919. He joined the German Workers Party. The party later mutated into the infamous Nazi party. Hitler left the military to join the political party.
Hilter was able to appeal to the masses. They looked up to him as the Messiah who would deliver them, unite Germany and rejuvenate the German economy.
Hitler was a powerful and spellbinding orator.He was able to attract a huge following of Germans who were desperate for change. He promised the disenchanted and discontented people a better life and a new and glorious Germany. The partyhad was alluring to the young, unemployed, farmers, and others of a lower economic strata.
He was appointed German's Chancellor in the year 1933. The Germans believed that he was their Messiah.

The Nazi Party had little relevance before the economic depression as they could muster only 3 percent of the vote in the German parliament during the 1924 elections . But during the 1932 elections, they clawed back and won 33 percent of the votes which helped Hitler to be appointed as the chancellor, the head of the German government.
