how did the first world war helped in the growth of national movement in india

In the first world war,the Britishers used the Indian army to fight against Germany.This made the Indians aggressive.Since they were being exploited by the British for their selfish means.Hence this made the Indians more active to get their Independence as fast as possible and hence led to a national movement in India.
