The kings received the resources from land revenue and capturing other kingdoms. they mobilized the resources by:
1)Developing good roads: The kings in the ancient time were very concerned for the health and facilities of their subjects. In order to facilitate trade as well as transportation they developed good roads.
2)In order to maintain  public health:Health was one of the major concerns of the kings. They wanted everyone in their kingdoms to be healthy and happy. to reduce health issues they built various things such as drains at every street, public toilets and a dumping yard.
3)For maintaining a powerful army and navy: The kings of the ancient time were always at war with some other king. Hence to be powerful the kings maintained a good infantry as well as cavalry. they even maintained a strong naval fleet in order to capture some islands.
