The poet’s mother was a great source of inspiration to him whenever she did Namaz. It touched him greatly to see her do this and she looked like a living Goddess to him when she did her prayers.

She cared for the poet more than her other children. She always gave him extra to eat because he was studying and working at the same time. His mother did this even if it meant she had to starve. Similarly, she had a small kerosene lamp for the poet alone to study during the late hours of the night.
