ANSWER:- the villagers helped Mrs packletide achieve her wish to get even with loona bimberton in helping her shoot a tiger.they brought an old and a weak tiger near the village.they put several children on a watch so that the tiger did not move from there.they asked a village women to no to sing song so that the tiger won't be disturbed

They suggested her about an old tiger who had given up hunting of large animals and who did sustain by eating small animals..... And they did also helped her by tieing a goat to the tree on the shooting day so that the Lion will come towards the place where controversy has been planned by the villagers and Mrs. Packletide... And the women went slowly after doing the whole day's work so that it may not curtail the sleep of the old Lion..
