Hey mate!
Here's your answer....
The atmosphere is a huge blanket which keeps the earth warm. It also protects living things on Earth from the sun's harmful ultraviolet radiations. A thin layer of gas called ozone stops these harmful rays from reaching the Earth. The atmosphere also causes some negativities. Things like hurricanes, lightning and thunderstorms, hail, flooding, and tornadoes occur due to imbalance in the atmosphere. Other things can also occur when we humans pollute the atmosphere, such as creating smog or destroying ozone.
Hope it helps!
