Hello there!

-7p + 108 = 66 (just rewriting it)

First, you must isolate our variable, -7p.
To do so, you must subtract 108 from both sides.

108 - 108 = 0
66 - 108 = -42

We are now left with:
-7p = -42

To solve for p, we need to divide both sides by -7.
Remember that when we divide a negative by a negative, we result with a positive quotient.

-7p / -7 = p
-42 / -7 = 6

p = 6 is your solution.

I hope this  helps!
