How do plants get nitrogen for making proteins?

There are 2 ways by which plant fullfil their need of nitrogen-
1.manures and fertilizer
2.the rhizobium bacteria in root nodules of leguminous plants which convert atmospheric nitogen to nitrates and nitrites.

plants get nitrogen from soil....nitrogen is absorbed by roots from soil.......mainly roots take nitrogen in liquid state......some plants have nodules in roots to convert soliD nitrogen into liquid so that it can be absorbed by roots those plants are called leguminous plants..........some plants are carnivore they eat insects to fulfill their need of nutrients(nitrogen)......
