Hello freind !!!
as far as You asked good question I can give you some point that will almost help you

All plants that use photosynthesis to make sugars contain chlorophyll. Therefore if a plant does not contain chlorophyll, it will not be able to use photosynthesis. Even though chlorophyll will always be seen as green , there are other pigments that leaves can have that are reddish that cover up the green colour .
★Reason behind this :-

One reason for this is that some plant-eating animals might be attracted to the green color so it helps the plant to cover it up with red. So generally, plants with non-green leaves will have chlorophyll and photosynthesis, unless they happen to be one of the species of parasitic plants that eat other plants for energy.

It is kinda tricky question!

well let us answer,

It is a scientific fact that chlorophyll carries out the process of photosynthesis.

But there is also a fact that all plants have chlorophyll in them.

Chlorophyll appears to be green because the reflect sunlight.

Sunlight has many wavelengths/colour of light like red, blue, purple etc. but plants selectively absorbs certain wavelengths for photosynthesis.

Chlorophyll absorbs mainly red and blue, and reflects green light (that is why plants appear to be green)
