Solar eclipses occur at New Moon, when the Moon is between Earth and the Sun. Lunar eclipses occur at Full Moon, when Earth is between the Sun and the Moon. Eclipses do not take place every month because the orbits of the Moon and Earth are tilted at an angle.

Toodles: Actually it's full moon night.
yaqoobmirza: so
Toodles: There's a difference.
yaqoobmirza: what difference
preet128: no it is not a full moon night .when the lunar eclipse occur that time it is a full moon night.

preet128: when the solar eclipse occur just the sun is hidden by the moon so the rays of the sun falls on the other side.
