- Mostly during lok sabha elections, general and presidential elections the candidates does high profile campaigns.
- Within a specific group an organized effort is made to influence the decision making progress also refers to electoral campaigns.
- There are a number of campaigns which are very important nowadays like paper campaigning ,social media campaigning, information campaigning and campaigning based on caste . Out of which fourth estate campaigns and social media ones influences of an estimate about 50 to 60 percent of voters.
