How do the pole strength and magnetic moment of each part of a bar magnet changes if it is cut into two equal parts along its length

Heya !!

 - The pole strength depends upon the area of bar magnet not on the length . So it will not change

 - If a bar magnet is cut into two pieces ( equal ) then each part will have it's pole strength : \bold{\frac{M}{\sqrt{2}}}

M is the original pole strength and the number 2 shows the number of pieces of bar magnet.

The pole strength of each piece whena bar magnet is cut into two equal halves perpendicular to its length is the same as the pole strength of the original bar magnet. However, themagnetic moment of each piece is half the magnetic moment of the original bar magnet.
