as the industries are situated outside the cities... many lakes too are situated outside the cities and the industrial effluents are let out into the nearby water body thus making it contaminated for mankind

Industrial waste is generally of higher temperatures than of he water body.this disturbed the temperature of water body and affects flora and fauna in water body
