THERMAL POWER PLANT
This power plant uses coal to produce energy.
Coal is used to boil the water which is kept in broiler.After boiling the pressure and temperature of the gas formed due to heating of water increases. The gas with high pressure and temperarure is released on turbine which is attaced to the shaft. Due to high pressure and temperature on turbine the turbine rotates and hence genarator also rotates and as a result electric energy is produced.
The gas falling on turbine loses ots pressure and temperature. It is collected back and send to the cooling tower for cooling. After cooling it is again send to the boiler throigh pump and this process goes on continousely
