Question

How do you solve 7+√2x−1=10?

Answer : x = 2root2

7+ root2x - 1 = 10

or, 6+root2x = 10

or, root2x = 4

squaring on both sides

or, 2x^2 = 16

or, x^2 = 8

or, x = 2root2

Thank you

7 + \sqrt{2}x - 1 = 10 \\ 6 + \sqrt{2}x = 10 \\ \sqrt{2}x = 10 - 6 \\ \sqrt{2}x = 4 \\squaring \: both \: sides \: we \: get \\ 2x^2 = {4 }^{2} \\ 2x^2 = 16 \\ x^2 = 16 \div 2 \\ x^2 = 8
x=√8
x=2√2
here is ur ans , hope it helps u.
