HOW DO YOU WRITE 2 DECEMBER 2016 IN 5 LETTERS WITHOUT USING NUMBERS

The answer would be 'Today', if I had been answering on the same day, i.e., 2nd December 2016.
If the question was asked today, i.e. on 6th of December 2016, substituting 2nd December 2016 for 6th Dec' 2016, the answer would be Today, that is because today's date is the same given in the question. 

I seemed to have answered a little late, so the answer would be practically wrong. But the dates are substituted and asked, again and again, so although the logic will be same, the question will be slightly modified.

2 december 2016 can be written as TODAY (5 letters in the word 'today'). reason - remember today's date? well its 2-11-16!
