Electric fuse in the principle of heating effect of electric current.When lot of current passes through the circuit heat produces.As a result fuse gets melted and protects all the metal vessels and wires from getting heated.

Electric Fuse is a device which is placed in series to limit the current in an electric circuit so that it easily melts due to overheating when excessive current passes through it.
