How does atomic size of an element vary on moving from?

1) Left to right in a period.
2) Bottom to top in a group.

For XIII class CBSE.

atomic size increases from let to right.   by one when you move from one group to next group.
When you move from bottom to top in a group - atomic size decreases  - byt 32, next by 18, next by 18, next by 8, then by 8 then by 2 ..
