Democracy enhances the dignity of a citizen as democracy is based on equality. In democracy, even the poorest and least educated person has same rights and roles as the richest and most educated person. They all are equal. Hence, the dignity of a person is enhanced as he faces no discrimination prevalent in other forms of government.
