Hey mate

• Gall bladder major function is to store bile juice produced by liver.

Bile juice helps in emulsification of large fat globules into small fat globules for pancreatic enzymes to act on it.

If it is removed then bile can't be stored and concentrated.

Hence it will affect the emulsification process and large fat gobules will not breakdown into small particles

As the result pancreatic enzymes lipase can't act on it and fat will remain undigested.

Hope it helps

Gall Bladder

It is a hollow pouch like organ present on the right side of the abdomen under the liver.

Main Function of Gall Bladder

It is used for storage of digestive enzyme, bile produced by liver.

Bile is important for emulsification of fats and to make the acidic medium alkaline.

> If gall bladder is removed from the body of a person, then the function of storage of bile is affected and thus this affects the process of Emulsification of Fats.

> But also if gallbladder is removed from the body of a person, she/he can live a normal life. In the absence of gallbladder, the bile produced by the liver is not stored there instead of it the bile directly drips into the digestive system.
